Gotcha, thought you were going SAS. Have you thought about looking for a 2dr Black Diamond? That will get you most of what you want from the non-SAS Badlands and I think it uses Hitachi shocks.
Ah damn, I figured replacing the affected components with a completely different make, especially those manufactured by Ford would actually get me around this issue.
Problem is you can't get both front and rear lockers on that trim nor auto 4, without the Sashquach Package. I might keep my eye out for one with that package if the price is right tho.
I was thinking the same thing, you can find really low mile '24's that are practically brand new and this one certainly falls into that category. Really odd that this only has 9 miles on it. Wonder what the story is, perhaps a fleet vehicle purchase and they changed their minds and auctioned it off? Looks like it's close to what @ChrisOfPA is looking for but as you said, the only real downside perhaps is the interest rate being used.
Yeah I might go for a lower trim if it has the SAS and mid package, I will probably never be rock crawling and can probably live without the sway bar disconnect if I had to. As for used vs new, I am really dead set at buy new at a Ford dealership.
Yeah I am really set on new, the price difference between new and used is so small I rather have new.The Sasquatch package is pretty good when you figure in the 4.70 gears, the lockers, the awd transfer case, 35's. If you build a 24 BD V6 2 door Sas it costs the same as a BL V6 2 door and the 4.70 gearing works great with the V6. I guess you lose out on the swaybar disconnect but have you driven a V6 2 door Sas, I think you'll be surprised. I got lucky and found my base Sas V6 2 door and it rides/drives even better with the 37's. I've done some power mods (intercooler, charge pipes, cat-back exhaust, intake, FPP tune) and it still pulls down 21-22 mpg on the open road.
Are you set on a brand new truck vs "used"? I saw this one listed as used but only has 9 miles so it might be something that can be sold even with the recall. It looks like a fleet vehicle looking at the carfax so it's pretty much new but considered used which might mess up financing.

That truck I linked stickered for a little over $60K and they are at $49 and change so that's a pretty big discount that might help offset a higher interest rate. I think the hardest thing for you will be waiting until dealers can release the new vehicles that have the hold status. In the meantime, you may want to look for a used Sas 2 door V6 just to go test drive (since you can't test drive the new ones on hold).
The Heritage Edition was the budget Sas Bronco, came standard with the mid package, comes with the front bash plate and gas tank skid (missing 2 small plates). Armorlite sells a full rubberized floor for around $650.
It's funny because I have a HLE and I didn't even think of the HE but that is a good point. It really does give @ChrisOfPA pretty much everything he is looking for in an even better and unique package. The white MOD roof itself makes it worth it, big improvement over the MIC. '25's only come in 4dr now so you would have to find a new '24 if you want a 2dr. Did a quick search in Autotrader in the PA area and found a few new 2dr 2.7L HE's.
I actually don't mind waiting, as I can put even more money away, more than anything I am worried the dealer won't call me back when they're ready to be sold and someone else will swoop on it.
Worse case, I will consider the Heritage Edition if my options become limited but I wasn't a big fan of the color combo but if it came down to it, I would buy one as the features I want matter more than the color.
I didnt realize the roof design on the Heritage Edition was improved, that is my biggest concern with the Bronco as it gets a lot of complaints. The 4 door with the MIC roof I drove didn't sound too bad but I didn't have a chance to get it over 55 MPH...
The roof on the HE and HLE are what they call Modular tops. The 2dr has what is known as the "gunners port", it's a oval porthole like section in the back you can take out. On the earlier models (2024 pre job 2) like mine the rear windows also come off which can give you a pretty open air experience without taking the top off. Having owned a couple of other Broncos with the MIC top I can tell you the MOD is heaps better and will probably help with the cracking the MIC's suffer from.
I'm guessing you mean the white accents and roof? The body color comes in a fairly wide variety for the HE, the HLE came in 3 unique colors.
