So masking tape is not sticking to the black rubber on the grab handles. Anyone got any ideas on how to mask off the rubber so I can paint these?

I will admit it looks pretty good (in a luxury way) but ya didn’t actually paint the dash…

Well, I'm all done for now. Grab handles later and when my Redline Goods shifter boot shows. I'll update...

Looks freaking amazing. Can you explain the witchcraft behind this? I want to make all of these parts black

I got a quote from a local shop to remove, prep, paint, and reinstall the dash. $1,295. Does this seem high to anyone else?
Sounds high at first.
But then I think of the labor time to correctly remove the dash, prep it, reinstall it without damage, plus the materials...it's not as crazy as it sounds.
Knowing me, I'd quote that job lower and eat some of the cost of labor hours (translation: not charging people $100/hr for labor like a lot of places do).
I've done some jobs at lower costs and lower profit margin just due to my desire to do a job or my love for the end result I know is coming.
Like this one, which I priced far below what custom shops would even dare to, but I was in love with the job and the fact the customer left all of the color choices and design up to me:
Ford Bronco Has anyone painted their dash? roof

Ford Bronco Has anyone painted their dash? side

Ford Bronco Has anyone painted their dash? rear

This one job spawned about 4 more, and this was all fresh "off the gun" before any wet sand and buffing cleanup.

Totally irrelevant and I'm off on a tangent here. Long story short, that's about what most places would charge to do the dash paint and do it correctly.
It's not a tremendous deal but again, they aren't necessarily hosing you on it either.
