I am ordering a Raptor, and will immediately take off the hard top to sell, to be replaced by a eTop. Anyone have any insight on the value of the painted Hard top (Black) v. the MIC as a takeoff? I will order whichever one I can net more for, to make up some of (or all) of the cost of the eTop. The painted is $1250 more to order...so trying to figure out if it will be easier to sell in that config and be able to sell it for more than that over the MIC.

Go with painted, MIC cracks and most people are looking for a non-MIC replacement. If you were closer to Arizona I would make you an offer for painted now.

Value is whatever you can get for it, so it’s subjective to your area.
I’m not sure why anyone would pay for a mic with all the issues, painted top would sell better in my opinion.

For sure you chances of resell on the painted top are much higher. MIC tops sell for a couple hundred dollars, and the market for selling them is very local.
