Hello. 2025 Bronco 2dr base. On reinstallation of the driver/passenger front top panels, does it matter if I secure the L-latches first and then the large latch behind the sun visor....or does it really matter what order we reinstall ?

Reason I ask is because I have a very small water leak between the two front panels very front where it meets roofline.

Thanks!

It really doesn't matter, but I prefer to secure the 3 twist latches first, then the hook clamp last. Make sure you condition the seals occasionally as well. I like food grade silicone grease for that.

As @DALOLA stated, I was told to start at rear middle and move forward with front hook clamps being last. So that's what I do.
Does it make a diff?

But I do know I have no leaks.
Yet.
Knock on wood.

Ok thanks. It looks like everyone has a different order. Looks like Ford manual has the main hook clamp first then the three L latches after that but I guess whatever works to keep the water and noise out!

Thanks for all the replies.

The latch order is not going to make any difference as far as leaking. The reason I do the hook last, it is more robust than the twist latches, and the twist latches will catch with less pressure if the hook is unlatched, thus, twist first, hook last. Just to take some pressure off the twist latches. No other reason than that. And yes, when I take the panels out, I unhook first, then twist. 🤠

Can I ask what product you use and where to purchase?

There’s a specific order it tells you to unlatch them in the manual. I always do that in reverse order when reinstalling.
