Ordered a support bar to give myself a little more peace of mind running only the front panels without the rear shell. Found this on Etsy from Bearmetaloffroad, couldn't find an actual website but couldn't be happier with this piece!

The fit is great, well designed with some logos even. Arrived in less than a week fully powdercoated.

I know lots of people have said you can run without the rear and no supports but for a couple hundred bucks it's peace of mind and gives a cleaner look to running front panels only!

So wait, what is it supporting exactly? Feeling stupid.

Interesting. Do the panel latches rotate and hook under the support, similar to how they would if the rear clamshell was on?

Just keeps the front panels secured when I'm running without the rear half of the roof. Gives the front panel center latches a place to lock.

Might be excessive/overkill but given the price and sensitivity of the roof panels, wanted to be sure they were secure.

Yes. Snug fit and no damage to the powder coating after 2-3 times latching it

Sorry, I'm not really a numpty...my googling is usually pretty decent but when I search Etsy for "Bearmetaloffroad" I only find 75 pages of grateful dead bear beaded bracelets and such. Don't have a link do you?
