I've only had my 2-door Bronco for four months, but so far so good. Overall loving the manual shifting it's very easy to drive. Top down and doors off is fun. Easy to maneuver in the city and fit into tight parallel parking spaces with shorter wheelbase. We kart kayaks around using a homemade carrier bolted to threaded holes in the rollbar.

Can't yet speak to off-roading due to recovering from an injury and winter setting in, but for sure it will facilitate an easier drive out west next summer for off-road adventures. Hard to complain much about a brand new open top 4x4 for under 30k, that checks off so many boxes for my family usage.

So far it’s been great. Too bad we’ve switched over to salt seasoning for our roads. It’s stuck in the garage for the next 4 months or so.

I am way more happy with my Bronco than I expected…drives good, good power, comfortable (wife actually likes it) while awesome on ”fast “ off roads and not awful in the rocks…

As a "neighbor to the west", I can understand locking up some of our cars for months on end. But my Bronco, it's just too much fun to Not drive in the winter. (And, at the price I had to pay, it had to be my daily). So after a trip to the local accessory shop for some rust proofing and under coating, bring on the snow. I love this thing! (Poc is from last winter. Hardly any snow here so far this year.) Love that HE 2DR, BTW!

Hey Craig, what a great looking Bronco, you chose the best colour, and have added the appropriate amenities to make it stand out. Well done!
A question for you, your bucking bronco graphic is awesome, where, if you don't mind me asking, did you find it?

Though the wait was very long, I have now owned my Bronc for just over a year, and it still brings a smile to my face every time I climb into it.
It has proven to be an excellent daily driver, safely taken me to amazing places,
with capabilities I have pushed to the limit, and it just nicely asks for more.
Definitely no regrets from my side!

Bought mine specifically for winter driving. Not getting why you park it for the winter?

They use salt and salt brine on the roads here in copious amounts. It eats metal for breakfast. I bought the sport while waiting on the Heritage. Decided to keep it and drive it in the winter. If they didn’t use salt or salt brine on the roads, I’d take it out for sure. But…..

Yay for this post! We are so thrilled with our 2 door Basesquatch with 2.7. And love it just the way it is, NO mods at all. Doesn't need a lift or different wheels or anything. We love the seats, so comfy, even the base sound system. It did great on our one and only exploring and 4 wheeling adventure so far. So fun to drive, my wife and I both love it and will keep it as long as it lasts.

It pains me for sure. I had a 95 Lightning that was treated the same. Sold it in 2020 when I reserved the Bronco. Not a drop of rust on it. This brine is the worst now. Not sure rust proofing will help against that.

I tend to keep vehicles for a long time, and they've rusted to pieces here in Chicagoland, due to overuse of salt each winter on the roads. We might as well be driving through the ocean. It's sad that so many classic vehicles are gone from this area due to the rust monster.

I'm also going to try and limit the Bronco exposure, especially since I didn't have time to apply Woolwax (lanoline-like rust preventer) to the frame and underside this season.
