Got the samples in this week. The "black nappa" matches better to the pattern of the black areas than just the "black" leather. The "taupe" is the closest to the other leather color in the Wildtrak. I asked for blue thread samples as a comment on my order but did not receive any.

Going to seek second set of eyes (wife) before ordering.

Just received my samples. Requested red stitching in comments as they recommended, and did not receive any stitched samples…

What does it actually mean "HE"? Sorry for maybe dumb questions but it is not easy to remember all the factory color codes with almost 3 thousand products

I just received mine with the additional padding. The Instructions don’t mention the additional padding. I’m assume the padding gets glued to the existing armrest top and then the new leather gets glued to the padding?

@SHANUT did you ever get a response to this question about the padding? I also have the extra padding and was about to start this project. Instructions don’t say anything about padding so I’m also curious how adhesive is supposed to be applied with that additional layer. @RedlineGoods

I ended up using the adhesive spray to adhere the pad to the console and then again on the leather cover when adhering to the pad. A little tougher project than i thought. Getting the edges stapled was not easy. I used 1/4 inch by 6mm staples. I used a lot of them. I definitely don’t have a future in furniture making or upholstery repairs but it’s done
