Has anyone put any overlay stickers on their FORD letters from an IAG Raptor style grill? I wanted to use the tufskins, but they said that they only fit the OEM grill letters. Curious if anyone had had success with them or another brand with an aftermarket Raptor style grill. Iām purchasing an...
@BA OffRoad great looking product! I was wondering if this slide out works well with any of your tailgate tables? I would be interested in seeing a picture of the slide-out pulled out along with a tailgate table to see how those would pair up. I could imagine using both for food prep or...
@Boomba Racing
Just bumping this to get some attention on the requests for some new ācapsā. I have seen a few other members whose pattern has faded or worn off completely and it would be nice if some replacement options were available. Maybe allow people to customize? Anyway, hoping that is...
I ended up using the adhesive spray to adhere the pad to the console and then again on the leather cover when adhering to the pad. A little tougher project than i thought. Getting the edges stapled was not easy. I used 1/4 inch by 6mm staples. I used a lot of them. I definitely donāt have a...
Arm rest finished š¬
Not my favorite mod. Turned out ok, but was much more difficult than most people will want to try. I used 1/4ā x 6mm staples. I used a lot of them. I donāt think you could do it with adhesive spray alone. I ended up using adhesive spray on the pad and on the leather. I found...
Hey @TonkaTruck not sure if youāve already placed your order or not, but in case you havenāt here is what I ordered:
Primary color: SOLID LEATHER: Black
Stitching: *Millenium Yellow
*NOTE: if I ordered again Iād choose Orange for stitching as the Millenium Yellow is NOT a perfect match to the...
@SHANUT did you ever get a response to this question about the padding? I also have the extra padding and was about to start this project. Instructions donāt say anything about padding so Iām also curious how adhesive is supposed to be applied with that additional layer. @RedlineGoods
Pretty happy with the results! Did the Redline goods shift boot as well. Definately a tight fit with the lack of flex in the new metal lockout lever where the lever, leather boot, and housing are snapped back in place, but a little trimming and a rubber mallet did the trick š
Hey @Mean Green , great pics of the arm rest installation! I'm going to be doing the same project soon. I was wondering, did you have to use any staples to keep the edges of the leather down? In the instructions from @RedlineGoods it seems like it's an optional step. I didn't see any...
@BA OffRoad you mentioned a 400lb weight limit, but that you had more testing to do. Did you ever confirm that? It seems like there are two parts to the slide out; can you confirm that the first part is intended for (capable of) sitting on? I feel like that would be one of my primary uses...
Can someone @Lifeliberty or @Bubbbba elaborate on this tool? Is this unique to adding a short shifter kit? I don't recall any sort of screwing the knob in when I replaced the OEM knob with the Boomba one.
Side note: I don't love the way that Boomba shift pattern appears to be warn off in the...
I like it. Not sure I love it. Here are a few observations for for my first drive with the new knob:
Pros:
1) Looks good. It looks like it belongs in the vehicle.
2) Shifts better. I think that the added weight of the knob makes shifting between gears smoother. It's not a huge change, but...
