Only had it on for a couple days now but works great to change the goat modes and protects the buttons. Lifts off easily if you need to manually change mode.

You're right it for sure does. I debated added a threaded top or a phone holder but it really would not make sense since it hinges open.
Thanks for your interest. I think I have about 8 remaining. I can put them up on eBay today. I gave a few to the Moab Bronco OffRodeo instructors and sent a few to a Bronco accessories manufacturer. I’ve been using for awhile now and haven’t seen any issues. I used on the North Carolina section of the TransAmerica Trail this past weekend and it pulls off easily if you want to change 4x4 modes or put in one pedal control. I like the look of it and it actually feels better to rotate the modes in my opinion.
