I've been thinking about this. First, the cylinder hugs the dial so you can still rotate it, with a flip-top cap you open for 4x4... like you were going to fire missiles

And it can have a decal

I made this cover from a Gain in wash scent booster 24 oz bottle I added a little thick tape on the inside to keep the cover on tight problem solved for me.

Ps I ground out the threads that were used to screw into the bottle.

Reviving an old thread. Are any of you still looking for something. I had the idea to make a cover look like the old locking 4x4 hubs on the early Broncos. I worked with a local fabrication shop to have some of these made. Only had it on for a couple days now but works great to change the goat modes and protects the buttons. Lifts off easily if you need to manually change mode.

I dig it, would they share their STL file for it?

Thanks! We are planning to sell. Will likely setup an eBay listing soon. Targeting about $20 + shipping. I only have 6 right now. Planning to take some to the Roadeo in Moab in May and try to get some off road testing done with these also.

Thanks for your interest. I think I have about 8 remaining. I can put them up on eBay today. I gave a few to the Moab Bronco OffRodeo instructors and sent a few to a Bronco accessories manufacturer. I’ve been using for awhile now and haven’t seen any issues. I used on the North Carolina section of the TransAmerica Trail this past weekend and it pulls off easily if you want to change 4x4 modes or put in one pedal control. I like the look of it and it actually feels better to rotate the modes in my opinion.
