Did you end up going buyback route or planning to wait it out for the gateway module? I got an update that there is no update from my dealer yesterday in terms of part ETA
Unfortunately this weeks update was still a backorder on the Gateway Module with no ETA.
I'm hoping the resolution to the strike will get the parts moving again. I have no choice other than wait for this module. The buyback offer of $35,000 is not serious. I'll let you know if I hear of any movement in the part and if you can do the same, I'd appreciate it!

Just to let you all know I have had the gateway module and TCU replaced and they still don't work. Ford sent a field engineer this week he was working on my vehicle all day Tuesday of this week and returned today and cannot get the software to work. As it stands now they are reaching out to the supplier of the gateway module to see if they can help. I am so disappointed in Ford on this whole issue. 6+ weeks at the dealer . My view is they get me a new vehicle (exact same specs ASAP) and reimburse me for the LINE-X undercoating I added to the vehicle, write me a check for the price I paid + LINE-X undercoating, or fix this within the next two weeks.

I was so excited to get this vehicle in July 2023 and have yet to really use it. I just hope Ford does the right thing here but I am not confident they will. Dealer has been very supportive but not much they can do.

The Gateway module just arrived and was installed yesterday. I picked up the Bronco last night and drove around a bit.... Everything works. So far......
Now I'm waiting for the Renumeration from Ford. The Ford Case Worker asked for a copy of my original invoice and said she'd get back to me on Monday to let me know what Ford would do to compensate for this 5 month ordeal. Will share the outcome...

Will do! Will post the Compensation.
One thing to note, The day before I received the GWM, I went to the dealer and told them I was taking my Bronco back. it was there for two months at that time and the wiring harness had already been replaced, so it started fine. I said I'd store it in my garage and bring it back when the GWM part was in. The next day, they told me the part was shipping overnight. Coincidence? Not sure....

That’s interesting. My dealer never said anything about the wiring harness itself. I wonder if I should call him about that Monday. I’m really happy you got yours back.

Thanks! Yes, the stalling/no start issue was the Wiring Harness. After three months and 6 tows, they found "a Bare Wire and Wire Chaffing in the left and right rear fenders and bumper areas".
The wait for the gateway module was the bonus two months at the dealer. The Gateway Module is a data collection hub. My car started fine with the faulty GWM, But Ford didn't want me to take it home and wait for the part in my garage... When I said I was going to take it regardless, the Gateway Module suddenly was shipped.

FYI... after 5 months, my Bronco is back and running well. To close the issue, I received $1,400 and a 75,000 mile/ 3 year extended warrantee. I asked for more, but at this point, just happy to have it back...
Hope you get yours back soon!

So the gwm uploads all your data to Ford so they can spy on you? I think I'll disconnect mine.

What does the gwm actually do then?
It’s the central module that translates all network information for each CAN.
The TCU is the one that sends information to Ford.
