Out of curiosity did anyone have a leak prior to?

Took my 22 Badlands non sas in for a recall they noticed a leak investigated it and found the pinion seal leaking.
Most FDU failures are caused by a leak. They don’t hold a lot of fluid, so any loss can lead to a failure pretty quickly if not caught fast enough.

No leak. I had the mechanic check thoroughly.

You mean the one where you're being chased by a bloody knife wielding clown whose running on the walls and ceiling of a broken down house of mirrors while Bessie Smith's "Baby Won't You Please Come Home" plays too slow and there's a whole pet cemetery in the corner of the living room painted with the most yellow paint that--

Oh, you mean about the diffs. My bad.

 🏃‍♂️ 🗡 👋 🤡
I don't have a worry about my diff, but now I do have a fear of knife wielding clowns!

I joined this club last summer. Just a 190 diff, but it broke so easily it’s ridiculous. Will eventually buy a 210, but I got a smoking deal on a takeout 190 from Bronc Buster just to get me through.
2024 non-Sasquatch Black Diamond with 35’s. But it was partly my fault. I got in a bind because I had unlocked my rear diff and forgot and got heavy on the throttle because I was in a very precarious situation.

Broke it on Sunday, had it going again Monday afternoon. I would’ve turned it in as a warranty claim, but we were getting ready to go out of town the next weekend and we had to have the truck. I wonder how long the dealership would’ve had it?
