I work doing PPF at a tint/PPF shop and I haven’t seen a paint job from any new car that is clean or perfect. Just the other day I found a hair under the paint on a brand new Mazda CX-5 and several other spots that looked like dirt. Tesla has notoriously bad paint, not sure what the deal is but it seems almost every manufacturer has been just pushing vehicles out as fast as they can. Don’t get me started on alignment of panels both inside and out being wonky.

Mine had this as well, but my dealership fixed it, felt like a welding splash under the paint.

Yeah my ocd would drive me crazy but after a couple months it stops bugging me. Could always turn out worse if “fixed”. Plus a scratch or dent is just around the corner anyways. Eventually that grocery cart will find your vehicle or that rock will be flying from the semi in front of you. Thats life! Lol

Seems like a warranty repair at the dealer is in order.
I didn't hesitate, you shouldn't either, we all paid enough. I was so pissed to have waited so long, just to have to wait longer to get the paint fixed, but to make me happy, they even threw in a ceramic coating a few weeks later after the paint cured

It epoxy residue from factory located on lower left hand corner of each doors. My dealership to care of the defects as well.

I had a few spots on mine - had them repainted. Wish I hadn’t. Factory clear coat is much thicker than what they do at a dealer body shop. Mine is already going back in for cracking clear coat a year and change later. Wish I would have listened to the body shop manager. But…being my first brand new vehicle I was stubborn.

Many people balk at the price of a really great paint job, but there is a reason it costs so much money. Paint at factory and most body shops is serviceable at best. You want great paint, be prepared to pay for it.

Modern day orange peel prevalent on many factory vehicles bothers me far more than dust particles in the paint. I figure if it's not a show vehicle, let it go.

My 'sport / roll' bar or whatever we're calling it nowadays has around a dozen fish eyes between both sides. I would have the dealer try to fix them, but probably just make it worse.

Same my roll bar has so many fish eyes / contamination in the paint. It’s not worth the headache of going through the dealership and body shop for something that is covered 90% of the time. Last thing I need is the body shop causing damage to something else to repaint it

I guess Ford's manufacturing plant needs to get an exterminator to get rid of those bugs in the paint.
