So I bought the forscan tool and downloaded all the proper software on my laptop. When I tried to connect the 24 bronco to the software it says can’t identify vehicle. To input the tune code or the pcm number. So I put the pcm number in the program and it still won’t identify the vehicle. The first picture was in the firewall and the second picture was on the passenger side fender. What am I doing wrong. Yes I am new to forscan and just needing help how to get it connected to our bronco.

Make sure you have the latest version of Forscan, it goes by VIN. If it can't find your VIN check with the Forscan folks and they can make sure it gets added. Had this happen on my '23 Bronco, they didn't have a new version out yet that had the bank of VIN's for the '23 I had, they sent me a beta version with my VIN and then it recognized it.

Can we see your Forscan screen where it's asking for PCM info? As TheShark noted it goes by VIN (or at least used to) so I'm curious about the screen you are seeing.

I think I remember that screen when Forscan didn't recognize my VIN. I think if it doesn't know your VIN it starts asking you for numbers like the PCM, I think it's just confused. It won't work until it recognizes your VIN.
