LOTS of crazy helpful posts on here. Thanks way in advance for everyones work.

I plan to implement some changes utilizing forscan. Ive got the adapter and the software and have connected to the car successfully.

Planning to kill double honk, open the sound to rear speakers after replacement, set proper tire size and disable auto stop/start.

Settings for all those are pretty easy to find, BUT I cant find a comprehensive step by step from the very beginning of connecting. Most tutorials start with the changes that need to be made to implement each change.

Does anyone know of a "very first step" tutorial?

I'm struggling with even getting into the discussion board to get an account. They want you to have a subscription (even the free one), but to register for a subscription, you have to have some type of code that looks like it comes from within the software? How do you download the software without the subscription? 😩

As @Area51BS said, there are a lot of good tutorials and YouTube videos online.

There are a handful of users (myself included) on this forum that also know Forscan (and FDRS) really well. If you have specific questions you can always message me.

I have been throwing around the idea of doing a series of videos on more Bronco-related Forscan topics, but not sure how much of a demand there is. I already did a video on the audio system, and I specifically avoided making that video a more generalized Forscan tutorial. BUT if people want a more generalized tutorial with a Bronco lean to it I can add it to the to-do list.

I think people would like a more informative video. More people would play around with it, if they know where to start.

Is Forscan now mostly utilized on mobile devices or just on Windows? I seriously need to correct the sound and speed calibration due to upgrading the tires on my BB.

There are iOS/Android "lite" versions, otherwise I think it's Windows 7 or greater. I think you also kinda want a laptop, although not sure (haven't used it).

I was going to give some links. Just type how to install and use Forscan on YouTube. Select a few and watch them.

The only way to use Forscan to adjust things on your Bronco or any other car or truck, is on a Windows system. The other versions will allow you to view things but not adjust them.

The F150 forum has the best, (that I have found tutorials) they take you from where to down load the SW, what stuff do I need, etc.

The biggest thing is to make sure you back up everything FRIST. There is a place you can maybe recover your As Built Data, but it is best to have your own backup.

I am gong to link to another forum. If this is not allowed please remove. F150forum dot com 13th Gen or 14th Gen forums have Forscan linked in the stickys Google Doc Forscan

Quick question please.
I'm in the buying process for a new 25 Bronco now. Reading about forscan and wondering if it will work for me. I'm an old man and not very computer literate, I can follow directions but don't really understand what I'm doing. Should I try to have the dealer make adjustments or do you think Forscan is suitable "for dummies"?
