What are you asking for the top? Is it posted somewhere?
Yep, it's on this forum marketplace for $900....Great bargain for a top that costs $2500 at dealer!

I did the same with my past Jeep and decided to just leave the soft top on full time. Kept it in safari mode pretty much the whole time. Too much of a pain to take off and on.

The hard top took up a lot of space in my garage next to my mountain bikes As well. Was glad to eventually get rid of it.

My wife just prefers the Sunrider top on my Bronco, and feels that it gives us the best of both worlds. A lot easier to just store the 2 front panels as well.

Agreed! I just ordered a new Sunrider top yesterday. I had one on my Wrangler for 4 years and loved it...easy to take on and off every spring and fall. The Ford softop would have been cool, too, but after spending several hours this weekend with no success, it's just too much hassle. Now I just need to find a new home for the softop!

I have taken it off by myself and put it back on with one of my kids. It was incredibly difficult and won't be doing it again.
Taken it off by yourself as in having a winch to lift it off? There is no way anyone on this earth can lift the soft top off by themselves.

Totally agree with the OP. First time I took it off I got my wife to help. Our marriage survived. My tailgate did not.

They don’t call it a “floppy top” for no reason…

It’s unnaturally awkward and heavy for what it is.
We took mine off a few months back.
I cleaned it well, let it dry, applied convertible top dressing to it, stored it.
I had one of my daughters’ boyfriends help me put it back on last week and it was a PITA.
I do have about 3.5” of lift and a 38” spare to lift it over, which in reality probably added a new level of “oomph” required to get it up and over.
But yeah… heavier than I anticipated and definitely a wake up call to the desire to remove it completely “often”.

Took it off to install cover plates to protect paint and honestly wouldn’t take off more than once or twice a year. Not worth the effort. It has to be around 125lbs ,5 ft off the ground and unbalanced. The wife and I took it off and let’s just say never again haha I bought a lift and put it back on by myself. Currently working on a balanced lift set up to make it easier so I only have to guide it.
