I think they did not want two sets of switches, added electrical wiring and potential for interfering with each other. Do agree that an option to reverse switches would be good. It seems intuitive to use the first 2 buttons (lower set) for front windows. Probably need to cut to fix as usually...

I would not want to go off road with electric. Batteries get damaged then you have real trouble. Also shaking them up would be a no no !!! Lithium is quite dangerous.
