Wondering what folks did with the white wire for backlight option that I understand the FP light does not have programmed into it?? Did you just cut the wire as short as possible? I ran into hood thinking there must be a way to make backlight work. No luck. The 3rd wire under the weather seal is a bit too much, two wires would tuck in nicer...

Hey were you able to make this work. I have purchased the FP Rigid Endurance SR series (M-15200K-BRRL) . I do see the white wire is hidden under the black insulated housing , can i connect it to the Aux switch and make the backlight work ?
