New Ford Bronco Badlands Day! Just coming out of a long string of Explorers and Expeditions going back a few decades. Can someone tell me what the best value of using Ford Pass Point are for?

So... FordPass points 101:
  • When you SPEND FordPass points... every 200 points equals $1
  • When you EARN FordPass points... every $1 spent on service, parts, accessories, etc. earns 10 points
    • A new Bronco purchase earns you 31,000 points
    • A certified used Bronco purchase earns you up to 22,000 points
You can spend your points at your dealer, on Ford Accessories, Ford Parts, Ford Performance Parts, or Ford Connected Services.

There is also limited time offers that enable you to spend/earn points for random reasons. Sometimes you can get a SiriusXM gift card with points, sometimes you can earn bonus parts if you buy a Motorcraft battery. Last month there was an offer to redeem points for a Bronco Nation gift card so you could go use it over on their gear store. (I personally used that one multiple times to get a bunch of Bronco gear, but that has since expired.) It all varies.

---

But anyway...

In my opinion, if you just got a new Bronco and you're looking to spend points on something... the no-brainer item is floor mats.

Yep, that's exactly what I was looking at. What's strange is my local Ford dealer isn't coming up for shipping to dealer option. Are certain dealers participating and others not??

I agree with the recommendation for the weather tech type floor mats, but don't waste your money on Ford's floor mats. I ordered them with my Basesquatch. They are flimsy garbage. At 35K miles, a hole wore through my driver side mat where my heel rests while driving. Here is a Pic a few weeks before it went completely through.

I used my points to purchase the 4/7 pin tow wiring harness. At that time there was also an option to purchase installation at a price about $50.00 lower than the dealership charges. They are required to honor that price.

Yeah not all dealers participate. It's an optional program.

In my case it's not an issue because my dealer's parts counter will price match anything on Ford Accessories, so I just order directly through them.

Do you get ford pass points for purchase over the local counter?

If you wheel, Ford Accessories has a killer deal on the OEM winch kit.

You can use your points towards purchase of the extended warranty.
It's not as exciting as buying stuff tho.

The hood struts are a decent buy. I believe they are made by Redline?

Ford Accessories has 15-20% off sales fairly often, best to wait till then.

I've got 31k points to burn now, do you know when the 20-25% off sales run?
Anyone's guess, the 20% off sale ended 2 days ago. In the last 4 months it seemed it was 20-25% off more often then not, a year or so ago they were few and far between.

My 3 years of Connected Navigation expired so I easily used points to renew. I rarely use it but it is nice to have when I’ve have no phone signal for phone navigation

No fixed schedule but they seem to cluster around events so I'd be watching for President's Day as a likely possibility for an upcoming sale.
