Fog light bracket: OEM round into a Cube space

I'm thinking about purchasing a second-hand front bumper that has two square openings for 3" cube fog lights. I currently have a Big Bend with the standard plastic bumper and OEM fogs (which are 3" round) and I'd like to reuse those OEM fogs in the new bumper. So I believe I'd need some sort of adapter bracket to place the 3" round OEM fogs into the 3 square openings...has anybody ever done this before? Is it worth the effort? Appreciate any advice. Thank you.

I did the opposite. Bought an ARB summit bumper, it was made for round lights and I put square lights in. What I ended up doing (and you'll have to look at the bumper to see if something similar is possible) was buying a stainless still light switch plate (like for a wall: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Eaton-1-Gang-Stainless-Steel-Single-Toggle-Standard-Wall-Plate/1002102936) and putting some extra holes in that where I needed them to mount the plate to the bumper, then the light pod to the plate (so that the square light was sticking out of the round hole... feel like I just failed kindergarten...)

That exact thing probably won't work for you.. I can't recall what the factory fog light mounting is like... BUT, if you think a little outside the box you might be able to get some long screws and use some bolts to create some kinda scaffolding for the factory light to hold it off of whatever the square light mount is in that bumper (you might need to get like an angle bracket as well depending on where the mount point is in that bumper .. shelf mounts can work for things like that .. go browse the isles at your local lowes/home depot).

I did what you are wanting to do. I took a hardware store T bracket and bent it to serve as the mount for the stock BB lights into the 3" square after market bumper hole. I've got a picture somewhere, I'll try to post.

A lot of the aftermarket bumpers don't take the factory fogs, especially with square cut-outs. Some bumpers do, like the ARB Bumper, but most are going to require you to buy new 3" pod lights.
