So I have it install but the black paint is coming off and the bare metal is showing , Is this a common thing ?

Not normal, I have them on my Braptor and no issues but did have some with brackets on the 6xl lights. They will make it right but it did take effort on my part to stay on top things to make sure they got the part sent to me.
Are these their pocket lights kit? I didn't notice any issues while installing but over time I've had paint flecks chipping off, probably from catching rocks. The bare metal exposed on mine is still bright silver so I expect the brackets to be aluminum and won't be worrying about it.
