I thought this was going to be a thread about aliens. I’m disappointed. :(
In fairness, finally making contact with sasquatch is still exciting!

The rear door I opened at SCE appeared to have a worn out strut. While concerning, I do have to wonder if that rear door has already been opened more times than a production one ever will?

I'm sure those tailgates have been abused. But it's still not good. Those trucks aren't that old.

I wonder if anyone else has noticed similar damage when checking these demo models out? I don’t recall noticing this in the tons of pictures I’ve seen. However I haven’t really been looking that closely at this particular angle either.
Myself I wouldn't be too concerned with little stuff like this. These are preproduction models, and there's no telling what has happened to them along the way. The Wrangler tailgate and doors are on similar hinges, and mine have been fine the last 2 years.

I have more pics but nothing different than we’ve all seen a million times.
Can’t speak for everyone but I know I wouldn’t mind seeing more pics of that amb BD!

"Well, If there wasn't, it'd be an awful waste of space. I'd have to say, my young friend, that it undoubtedly very well may be. Unequivocally, possibly, and in every way could be right now, and you'd never. Even. Realize It. Alrite, Alrite, Alriiite. "

*Now go back and read that in a McConaughey voice and just savor that for a bit.

I saw the same 2 last week on LI and you're spot on with the sasquatch, I was able to get in and out no problem, but also being 50+ I could see it getting tiring. 32s on steelies will be perfect for me.

I was thinking if going with the badlands with 35's getting some drop down side steps. I would think they would look like the stock rockrails.

I noted the LED taillights in Moab had like a clear plastic cover, which really looked like an aftermarket add on. Photo stolen from another thread:

I actually like the standards better

Every time I see this AMB it continues to confirm my choice in the colour. Every time I saw my original colour choice (Carbonized Grey) it would change and I would go from liking it (not loving it) to hating it.

Thanks for the picture and thoughts!
I'm sitting on a carbonized grey OB SAS order myself. But really liking the AMB as well. Not sure how it’ll look with the roast interior. Wife says to switch!

It's a tough choice and we all have our own opinions - I checked out a Ranger in Carbonized Grey on a sunny day and found it was far too light for me. I typically like darker vehicles, such as my current Jeep Grand Cherokee, which is black. I would have ordered the Bronco in Fords "Magnetic Gray" if that was an option, but it's not. AMB looks amazing and gives that "black" look, but with a hint of blue which I love.

I have the 2.3L in the Ranger Tremor. Its a powerful little engine. Ford Performance tune will get you another +50HP and +60 Ft/lb of Torque if you find it lacking somehow.
