Has anyone else had an issue with their being a 1/4-1/2 inch gap in the trunk area where the soft top meets the body of the car? I used the alignment brackets and everything and theres still a gap...

Can you post a photo and I'll compare it to my factory installed top.

Can you post a picture of the mounting hardware behind the back panels, makes me wonder if it’s not sitting flush because the bottom brackets are set too high.

I’ll post a pic in the morning. But I used the alignment hardware so I feel like that shouldn’t be the issue ?

Yes, something is not right, shouldn't have daylight like that. Hard to tell what without being there. Maybe someone here who takes theirs completely off and on again might have some insight.

No, that's not right and something is off. Here is mine. Look at that front hinge how it overlaps the plastic trim piece. Yours is sitting above it for some reason, and I think it's in your mounting bracket. Mine is level. Yours appear to be lifting upwards towards the front of the vehicle, not perfectly level. I'm not sure why or how to fix that?

Is your ST the same model year as the car? Did Ford make some changes to the mounting structure along the way and maybe you got the wrong year soft top? I honestly don't know...

Or can that pin plate behind the bracket be adjusted at all? Looks like it needs to be lowered and leveled?

Interesting. Do you think I can adjust this with the soft top still on? Or would I have to take the entire thing off ?

I think you'll need to take it off. I think that bracket with the resting pin needs to be adjusted and leveled, if it can?

Well that’s the issue. I used the ford supplied alignment tool. So now I have to align it by hand which makes me think I’d have to do it while it’s on…

Following this. I’m actually waiting on some parts to swap to the ST. Had mine still in the pallet and thought I had everything I needed to install but was missing quite a few important parts. Hopefully I ordered everything I needed and can install soon. Wondering if I’ll run into any issues. @ryanc721 , what is this leveling tool you mention? Can you share a picture or part number?
