FedEx Screwed Me

Fed Ex sucks ass. They dragged my Havoc bumper up the sidewalk, grinding off the powder coating. I ended up sending mine back and then having it sent to a Fed Ex office so I could pick it up and inspect it. It's the drivers that are causing all the issues.

Hate FedEx, they pull that kind of crap all the time here with deliveries. Last issue I had they put a refrigerated package under my porch because they didn't want to climb the stairs to leave it by the door, no notice, I found it 3 days later.I've asked businesses that I order from to ship UPS whenever I can.

We order lots of Kringles from O&H Danish Bakery every year for Christmas gifts. Did it for more than 10 years. Usually 30 or more. FedEx has screwed up so many times. In 2020 they lost ours for 6 days. O&H sent us a replacement batch overnight and then the others showed up. In 2021 the box was destroyed and almost all of the Kringles were crushed. This is what the box looked like. O&H replaced all of those at no charge. We did not order for 2022 because of the stress of dealing with FedEx. I tell businesses the same thing you do and that I will pay the extra shipping cost.

I just went through a shipping incident with FEDEX. Been waiting for the paperwork for my Bronco as we bought out of state, had my folks pick it up. In trying to register it I finally was able to figure out the paperwork was delivered two weeks prior by FEDEX. Even got a nice picture of the flat envelope sitting on our front porch table, nevermind that we were in gale wind warnings that day. Have no idea who in the neighborhood ever found the paperwork and has all my information.

Lol yeah fedex blows… I’m not thing I can rely them for is being late with the delivery. They lost a 12’ rolled carpet rug that I had ordered before .

The only time I want to see FedEx is on an over night document. I've had good luck with that service. Not so much on anything else. At least the neighbor hood is good and we deliver the FedEx packages to the correct house after they've made their deliveries.

A couple of months ago I was traveling south on Rte 138 through Milton, MA, and saw a package about 60x15x15 inches in the middle of the road. It turned out to be FedEx crate with a specialty Toyota bumper for some guy a couple of miles away! It was too much for me to handle, but another passer-by and I got it to the side of the road. I stopped at a nearby fire station and spoke to the captain, who said he'd find somebody from the town's public works section to retrieve it.

At least the package looked intact. Sure hope Mr. Toyota got his bumper!

I shipped a Limited Slip Diff from my G37 Coupe to that area of Georgia with Fedex. It was heavy, in a very sturdy crate. It was to that area in GA and did the same thing bouncing around with tracking. Then, it just disappeared along the route. Nothing ever showed up. I had to refund the buyer. The best part was Fedex offering me 1/3 of the insured amount ($800). On appeal, because ya know, I had it fully insured, they offered me 1/2 and to refund the shipping amount. I argued for weeks, perhaps 2 months. I never got the full insured amount. Never again with them.

Have had several Fed EX packages disappear. Sometimes they leave them at the end of my road, When we see them, if they're for neighbors, we finish the delivery. Because we're neighbors. We get deliveries of pharmaceuticals with $4000+ co pays. Only a few of us up here, we look out for each other. At least the UPS guy gives me a call when he can't get his box up the road (frequent in the winter) and tells me he had to leave it at my alternative delivery, the beer store... ... USPS leaves me a card that it's at the post office. Fed EX sucks...

Proud to work there, just celebrated 22 years in February. I never said they were perfect, no one is. For every bad delivery I have tons more good deliveries, from all carriers.
You still need proof, look at my profile and email me at my first name @fedex.com and I’ll respond.
I have no absolutely desire to care where you live, that’s not even what I was going to look at. Was just trying to help a fellow member out. Seems you don’t want it, good luck with your package.

PS - FedEx would not initiate a return on the behalf of a recipient, only the shipper can do that. Which they wouldn’t do for a correctly shipped package that was delivered to the correct recipient.

In my defense my post was close to midnight on Saint Patrick's Eve, do with that information what you will.

Well after my hissy fit the past few days we've got a resolution. I just want to thank mx6bfast for all the help trying to figure this thing out.

I said @HavocOffroad was going to make it right and they did, they're shipping out a brand new bumper for me today.

Can't wait to get this bad boy installed and share pics. And congrats to whoever finds a free bumper on their doorstep one day
