Ships in a gigantic wooden crate, so unless you have a way to transport that wooden crate home it just makes sense to install it at the dealership.

I can but for free shipping it has to be shipped to dealer and pay for install.. So it's either pay for shipping or pay for install.. The install cost is $300 and shipping to my house is about $200.. Also there are additional parts to install and i think some to remove... For me the initial install I would rather have them do it

it can be shipped directly to your home but if it's damaged in shipping it will be a pain to return it .. If there is a issue with the top at the dealership they will do the return.. Shipping weight is about 400#

To be clear as per ford , to ship to the dealership you have to choose to have them install and shipping is included

Checking back in here for any pics and a walkthrough of how arduous it may or may not have been to get this thing installed once the order was confirmed by Ford. Was the dealer in the loop from the beginning, or did you elect to ship it to the dealer and then had to be proactive with getting your install done after the fact?

For me I made the order myself online and choose to ship to dealer.. When you ship to dealer it is free shipping but must pay for install.. Install is $300 , shipping to home is $200. Once it arrived at my dealer , I got with them to setup install which will be done this thursday. I just want the initial install done by dealer .. One last thing the top comes in one wood crate and shipping weight is 400# and took about 2 weeks from order to delivery.. I will post here after install and give the rest of my experience

Hard top was installed today. Have to say this was a smooth process ,ordered on 12-27 and installed 1-23. The top was perfect after closely looking for defects.. I am looking to sell soft top , im in southern Indiana..

At this point I don’t have a large amount of faith in the dealers and their parts counter. So I’m eagerly watching this thread to see how this pans out for you folks. Might have to ship it straight home if that interaction is any indication lol.

yes.. shipping to home will be about $200 ( for me in southern Indiana ) and ship to dealer is free but have to pay 300 install.. Also the top comes in one large wood crate and shipping weight is #400
