Hey all, took off my front capable bumper theater day to paint the front tow hooks, unplugged the factory foglight harness without much thought.
After reinstalling the front bumper and plugging the factory fog harness back in, the foglights no longer turn on. Pressing the factory foglight switch does nothing, foglights remain off and the dash doesn’t show the foglight symbol.

Does anyone have any idea on how can I fix this?

You probably put the fog light wire on backwards and shorted the circuit out - check for a fog light fuse - if confuse then it’s handled by the BCM and it’ll reset itself after you correct the short

The harness plug has certain extrusions that prevent the plug from being plug in backward, I don’t think it’s possible to put the wire backward, I did line up so the 3 male end of the connector goes into the correspond 3 female end. I didn’t unplug the individual fog, just the main bundle harness on the driver side of the bumper.

I done goofed I was under the assumption that the headlight and foglight status are independent I was not aware that the foglight will only come on when the headlight is on….

Well, we all learn something daily...
I liked having these lights on all the time, so I used ForScan to enable them with the DRL and High Beams. I also put a blue tinting on them. Leaning into the blue accents for the Wildtrak.

The harness in the fender is probably not snug.
