Sadly this is true, and probably the thing that bugs me the most about new cars. Also - the market can't stay as hot as it has been recently. The rate of pricing increases are not sustainable long term. This means that selling a Bronco may be easy, but it's not going to be the money making deal that early buyers have benefitted from. If your ownership window is short term (less than 2 years), buying now and selling inside that window will probably be OK. After that - who knows.I also don't have any illusions that I'll be keeping this one for 19 years like my Tacoma, way too many computers and sensors in modern cars that I doubt anyone will support or still make 19 years from now, cars are - like anything else outside of maybe real estate - becoming disposable commodities.
Maybe if I actually had mine I wouldn't be as concerned.
Interesting coincidence - my SuperDuty (I bought it new) is also 19 years old. Would love to have the latest one, but no plans to replace it soon.
