Extend My Seat.

I installed these seat brackets on my two door yesterday. @TATRunner thanks for the pics and install description. Pretty weak that ExtendMySeat doesn’t offer instructions for the Bronco. My seat trim took a T15. If anyone considering this owns a two door, know that the plastic seat recliner will make contact with the plastic trim at the base of the B pillar. Being tall, as I’d think most who would purchase these brackets, I put the seat all the way down. I had to raise the seat, put it back to where I wanted it, then ratchet the seat down, making contact between the seat recline and side panel. If ExtendMySeat were professional, they’d have stated this is only for four doors on their site or to risk the trim contact on the two door. They’re definitely poor at responding to emails too.

Speaking of power seats, anyone know if it would be a simple swap to put OBX powered seats in a non power seat Bronco? Might it be possible the wiring could be there under the flooring and it’s a matter of getting seats and maybe pigtail harness?

That’s what I like to hear. What I am still trying to verify is if the power seat will go as low as the manual seat. I have read the power seat does not go as low and I have to run my seat all the way down or one “notch” from the lowest setting.

I knew a guy one time who was 6'8" and took the driver's seat out of his Geo Metro and sat in the back seat. True story.
