$5 Seat adjustment lever extender

Something that’s been mildly annoying is how far my old self needs to reach the lever to move the seat back and forward, so I added a simple mod to make it easier.

First picked up a small bungee cord and garage hook from the hardware store:

Then chopped off the screw part of the hook:

Then zip tied it to the original lever, and used the bungee cord to keep it pulled back.

A little janky for sure, and could make some improvements to make the attachment a little secure, but works pretty good. Just wanted to share in case anyone else was looking for an idea to make it easier to adjust.

May I suggest a pair of small worm claps instead of zip ties - it should make it a little less “janky” and likely a bit more fault-tolerant.

Wrap it in Tesa fabric tape or electrical tape…

Because it's really a boat..... With marine vinyl and drains....just gotta cover your electros.

I purposely ordered my Raptor with wash out interior and MGV seats so I could clean it easily after playing in the woods/mud/rocks. YES, my seats are manual. It’s not my DD and I am the only driver so my seat position doesn’t get moved.

I have a two door so the seat gets moved often. I love it and wouldn’t trade it, the seat mod just makes it a little more comfortable.
