Exhaust sound

Am I correct in thinking that the Bronco will have a pretty sweet exhaust sound? Or is that only with the 2.7 engine.

Sound is a relative thing. What I think sounds good you may not like. IMHO, if it's not a V8, or an Indy car you won't be able to get a good sound out of the 4 or 6 cylinder Bronco engine. If you've ever heard a Raptor with the 3.5L Turbo you understand what I'm saying. They sound pitiful.

In before all the V8 guys come marching in screaming about how the only good sounding engine has 8 cylinders — but I think the 2.7 will have a pretty good sound based on videos I’ve seen of that motor in F150’s. 2.3 can sound pretty nice also. There are videos out there of both these power plants in other Ford vehicles.

It's likely to be terrible but, if we're lucky, it will be acceptable. There's no way getting around that. Doesn't mean it can't be cool, though. Doesn't have to sound good to sound cool.

From the videos I searched up MBRP seems to have the best sound for my taste. Most 2.3 exhausts sound more import tuner than truck but they do a pretty good job. The 2.7 sounds exotic to my ears, would be better sounding with a nice manual but oh well.

I've got the MBRP cat-back race exhaust on my 2.3Ecoboost Mustang - no, it doesn't sound anywhere close to as good as a V8 ... but for a 4 cylinder, it sounds decent ... here's a video a did .. .

Not sure where people are getting this. While there may be a symposer, ala FiST and FoST, There is no indication that what you describe will be the case.

My F150 2.7 sounds like most 6cyl. Farm equipment deluxe! It’s just an odd firing order for a four stroke motor.
