Who in a 2-plate state has installed the Ford-provided front license plate bracket (KN2DB-17N397-AC) ?

I noticed the hawse fairlead mounting bolts are barely long enough as is. Mine has lock washers under both the acorn nuts and bolt heads. The license plate bracket is ruggedly designed, and about the same thickness as those factory lockwashers.
But it really needs slightly longer bolts if you add the license plate bracket, or one could remove the lock washers under the bolt heads (though nonexistent flat washers should be there).
To remove the bolts, which are installed from behind, one must loosen-remove the winch (just saying).

These old 2021 instruction list an -AA bracket. Anyway, they don't show any lockwashers under the bolt heads. (Page 18) The instructions are wrong about the bolts (Y) being 7/16, appear to be around 5/8.

I opted for the aftermarket flip-up mount.

Done. The hawse fairlead bolts were obviously not long enough to also include the license plate bracket into the sandwich. So I unbolted the winch, removed the bolts from behind and removed the lock washers from them.
I hate acorn nuts, used in the hawse fairlead mounting, because one needs to get the bolt length "just right". Anyway, lockwashers remain under the acorn nuts.
Despite the license plate bracket having a broad flat surface, I noticed the hawse fairlead moves a bit (tilts) when I retracted the cable, even though I was gentle.....just enough to secure it.

My latest additions are some off-road lights, the hood bug guard and the winch cover.
Next purchase will be the trans skid I think.

Disconnected the front sway bar links and went out this weekend for about 4 hours of trails. Felt good at speed on pavement to the trail head. Was nice at speed 40ish mph on dirt track, and good on the slow stuff. Not sure how much extra flex it gained, still has no problem doing the Bronco wave.

First air filter change, 9500 miles and I’m surprised how clean it is.
I live on a dusty road and drive on dusty trails often. Splash in water and mud a lot also. The snorkel picks up cleaner air for sure, most definitely has kept a lot more water and dirt out vs the front facing grill intakes.
