I learned this weekend that even my 2021 Base with 7MT has built-in trailer sway control as part of the standard 'Advancetrac with RSC' system. My Bronco does not have a Ford trailer hitch from the factory, nor have I ever installed any Ford trailer module or Ford towing package, nor made any FORScan modifications to enable this.
How do I know this? While towing a Uhaul 6x12 trailer that may have been a little over load limit, at about 63 mph a couple of times after hitting a big bump on the highway it induced the trailer to start swaying. A message popped up on the dash saying something about 'trailer sway' and the traction control light also came on, and I could also feel the brakes automatically applied.
Pretty impressed that this level of safety comes built in on the even the oldest and most basic Bronco package.
