I had to jump start my 22 OBX today. It started but I’m throwing error codes for brakes that aren’t going away. Is there anything I can do or is this a dealer fix ? I do not have forscan. But I do have a simpler scanner that reads codes and does minor changes. Please advise.

I mean, you got error codes and it's under warranty, sounds like a service issue. I certainly would be careful driving it until you know what's going on. You can also post the codes/messages here.

I can look at your VHR for codes, but with something like brakes, I recommend just getting it to your closest dealership so they can diagnose it properly. Not something you really want to mess with as a safety issue.

Low battery voltage will cause codes due to modules and sensors giving false readings. Most likely the cause of the low voltage is your only problem. Whatever the roost cause is get a dealer service department to correct the problem.

What @Ducati1098 said. You can send either of us your VIN to see if there's something in VHR (assuming your modem has been activated).

Thank you for all your feedback. As a followup all my error codes reset after the battery was fully charged. However I noticed some brake drag at slow tight turning. I took it into the dealer and they diagnosed a ABS pump that needed to be reset. They did and all appears to be good. Thanks again.

No joke man, you are very quickly rising up the ranks of best members on the forum since you’ve joined.

From the humor in posts, to taking the care to call on the serious Calvary to help the OP here and they are always there for proper guidance, that’s pretty awesome and helpful.

Good stuff! 🍻

Thanks man! Just doing my part. Always wanted to be part of the off roader community, and this ones pretty good. Learned a lot from my betters. Even the Canadians, eh! (@604Bronco 👀 😁)
