I am NOT going to ENGAGE in this conversation! Too much friction here...I don't want to slip... I'll see myself out...disengage!

As an operator, you only disengage the clutch. Once you decide to get the hell outta the way, the mechanism will return to its natural state of engagement. Damn humans are always screwing with nature.

thanks for the replies...most everyone understood the humor in the question and I appreciate that....here are several posts from another thread that literally made me ask the question.

I obfuscated peoples info as I am not trying to rile anyone up....but there does seem to be confusion about engaging and dis-engaging a clutch.

:D:D:D:D:D

If FoMoCo would send me my Bronco from Dirt Mountain I wouldn't have any time to be sitting here looking at posts!
Maybe they could have used "operate the clutch" or "depress the clutch pedal" instead of engage?
Of course, using those terms opens you up to surgical or mental health jokes.... maybe a poll, sometimes a pole.

Yeah those people should stop trying to look clever and just say push the clutch pedal or let it out.

I haven't been obfuscated in awhile, Is engage clutch pedal better for you or will that get me called out again?
