Wait.. I ordered one of these off Amazon (I’m assuming it’s the same as the ebay version), are you saying my sensors from capable bumper won’t plug and play into this knock off? I have the lux package.
Can you dm me the link to the one you got off Amazon, I have one on Amazon I’m waiting for stock

I installed this with parking sensors + adaptive cruise. The bumper came with sensor holders already installed so I didn't have to move the sensor holders from my Plastic bumper over. I had sensors which have the wire going through the side, I heard there's another kind of sensor which has the wire going out of the back. I just unplugged them from my old bumper and they snapped right into place on the MOD bumper, didn't have any issues with clearance or running the wires through either. Don't have any issues so far. I didn't have to do anything with the Adaptive cruise control sensors.

That was exactly my experience, the eBay Mod had the plastic holders, I just swapped the wiring harness from the capable bumper, all the sensors just snapped in, no issues with the sensors or the adaptive cruise control.

I made an offer on another one located in Hebron KY, and it was declined. When I went to re-offer it was listed as out of stock. Seems like the supply dried up, and no more exist in the US. I don feel like ordering one from China. just strange there were dozens of them on eBay and now none from the US?

That is what I'm saying with the caveat is some have probably done the swap, it's just the part numbers for the Mod and capable are different.

I've seen several youtube videos of guys swapping either the plastic or capable bumper for a mod. The actual sensor plastic holders were different, both guys just "modified" them by snipping some of the plastic off and then they would pop in. I thought I might have to go that route but was pleasantly surprised that the eBay bumper came with the plastic holders.

The ones I ordered have them on there, just haven't attempted to install the capable sensors (which are about 1/5 the cost of the the mod). If they work all that much better. If going from mic to mod, you'll still need to whack the front tow hooks or buy the other intercooler mounts which isn't a huge deal, just some time or a little more $$.

That is interesting that the capable sensors are 1/5th the cost of the mod. I can't imagine why. I can say as others who have bought the eBay mod bumper the capable sensors work. One of the youtube guys mentioned that the wiring harness from the plastic bumper was a bit of a tight fit when connecting it to the car but it did fit. I didn't notice any issue with the capable harness, seemed to have plenty of play to connect it up.

One thing that is important is to get the order of the sensor placement correct. Several videos said to label the sensors so when you pull it you get it the same position on the new bumper. Get them out of order and it can throw errors.

List on the mod (all the same) is $253.33, capable outers are $48.72 each, inners are $103.00 each. Alan Mullaly would not be happy with this type of wasteful engineering. Just needed one sensor for all front and rear, maybe change the plastic housing they sit in if needed.

These ebay bumpers are definitely not OEM! They ebay ones actually have quality control.
