Dv8 light quality

Is anybody using the dv8 light pods?

I’m thinking about upgrading my modular bumper that has diode dynamics pods installed to a dv8 bumper and was thinking about using dv8 lights to keep the upgrade a bit cheaper. My other option is sell my bumper without lights and reuse my existing lights.

Does dv8 only offer a flood beam pattern, and how water resistance are they? They would be used as fog lights so I can’t be blinding people on the road. Any pictures are appreciated

i have 4 DV8 elite 3" pods(about 3 weeks now). They are super bright and have a cleaner look to them vs a traditional 3" pod. I use 2 for fog lights and 2 are tied to the AUX switch.

Do you have any pictures of the beam pattern or does it just light up everything?

I have the 13” bull bar light. It’s on par with the diode ss3 output. Beam is extremely tight. They seem to be using the same housing and reflectors as oracle. Or they appear to be the same looking at them.

No water issues on the dv8. I submerged mine for 48 hours before it went in. Been power washed 6 or 7 times. Quality and output wise I give them a thumbs up.
