Dumb fender flare question

UPDATE: I’m mistaken. The issue that threw me was that through a confluence of shipping misadventure, I ended up with two front left and two front right fender flares, and those clearly are different from the rears. I’ve since ordered rears and should be right in short order. Thanks to all who’ve tried to help me make sense of this all.

yes- it was operator error on my end. As usual, I was trying to put a square peg in a round hole, figuratively. You can swap them without worry, provided you know- you are trying to swap a left front with a different left front, etc.

Thanks! Just curious how much you paid/what theyre going for? Finding a set and getting them shipped may not be as cost efficient as just painting mine.

yes- it was operator error on my end. As usual, I was trying to put a square peg in a round hole, figuratively. You can swap them without worry, provided you know- you are trying to swap a left front with a different left front, etc.

Well, because I have a gift for screwing things up with part numbers, I ended up a total of six flares when I wanted four. Hehehe. I have a Velocity Blue OBX and just don’t care for the painted fender flares, so I ordered regular black ones at about $135 or so each. I ordered from Sam Galloway Ford (https://www.oemfordpartsfast.com) and they were good.
If you want Velocity Blue ones, let me know- I try to be reasonable.

Oh, and if you need Sasquatch flares, those have a specific part number for the set of four, and could formerly be had for just over $400. I haven’t looked at the prices lately, but that single part number makes it convenient.

I really don’t know what shipping would be- I mean they aren’t heavy, but they are bulky. Galloway shipped two per a big honkin box, and I don’t know if I had the presence of mind to keep them. Let me go poke around in the garage and see if I was smart enough to keep those.

Okay, here’s the scoop: I have the four flares that appear in good shape. I hadn’t washed them before removal because I’m lazy, but I gave them a look over for any scratches or chips and didn’t find any. For whatever reason, I only saved one box (!) and will need to find another. The box is 20” x 8” x 50”. I’ll start looking for that, and the zip code of origin is 98422. Would $300 for the set strike you as fair (plus whatever shipping is)?

Trying to calculate shipping. Based off that box dimension and estimating 10lbs im seeing $150-200. Would be double that for 2 boxes.. be much easier/cheaper if theyre in the same box. Any idea what the actual weight is? I know they dont weigh much individually but factor in packing materials and the box Im assuming all 4 couldnt be more than 15-20lbs in the same box.

I had swapped flares with a guy last year, found a big box, wrapped them in some bubble wrap, fit them in and shipped them off.

When I received his, they were wrapped in bubble wrap only. No box. Just bubble wrap, tape and an address label. Wish I still had a picture. Was shocked they shipped them like that but no damage and all was good. Of course, these were the black plastic and not painted flares.
