Drivetrain malfunction

I apologize for starting a thread on a very individual problem, but I'm at a loss for where to begin. For starters, I'm in the Northeast blizzard, and blocked in with drifts up to 30 inches. With 4L and both lockers I could probably power through, but...here's what?

Friday and Saturday I drove about 150 miles, mostly highway, all good.

Then, this morning: engine started with hesitation. I backed into a bit of snow, expecting to engage the driveway drifts, but my 2022 Badlands Sasquatch Lux (2.7/auto) (58,000 miles) would not engage in 4L. I worked it in and out of neutral, patiently and gently, it would not move from 4A to 4L.

Also, very weak power. Even after warming up, it gained RPMs with difficulty, and could not reach 3,000. Foot off the accelerator, it settled down to a weak, fragile idle. I put it back inside--didn't want to get stranded in the snow, which is finally tapering off.

I guess I'm looking for a diagnosis to call in to my dealer, if anybody's encountered this group of symptoms, or suggestions. I have the Ford Extended, but getting a truck in to pull it out won't be feasible probably for a week.

I had so wanted to go out in the snow and play. Anybody have any experience, thoughts, or recommendations?

Just shooting in the dark here, but this is worth a look:

1. See if snow got jammed into your exhaust and is blocking your exhaust flow, sounds strange but it is possible if the exhaust was cold, IE backing into a snow drift immediately after starting.
2. Check air cleaner for signs of water intrusion.

Sorry this isn't much help, but T/S remotely is a guess at best. Can you check codes?

Also, if you have a good relationship with your dealer they can pull some history of codes remotely, never hurts to ask them.

No issues wit the exhaust. Still starts up with a hesitation, does not want to rev high, and settles to a sputtering idle. I noticed warnings:
change oil soon.
Needs service.
Check 4x4
And the front impact warning (not working) indicator goes on.

One last thing: I'm in a temporary apartment because of a very small fire but a lot of water damage (problems like to bring their relatives), and this place has a real rat situation. I've cleaned out nests on top of the engine 3 times, and have carefully checked wires for any sign of rodent damage, and everything looks okay to my untrained eye. I got peppermint-cinnamon pouches ("Grandpa's" or "Gramp's'), haven't worked. I'll add more and spray heavily with mint oil.
