I have a 2021 Big Bend. Yesterday morning, I clicked on the drivers seat heat and quickly smelled a burning, electrical smell. Quite strong. I turned off the seat heat and I still smell it a bit and I'm not sure if it's just residual or if I continue to get it to a lessor degree. It's definitely coming from under the drivers seat. Local Ford dealer can't get me in until March 5. Today, I removed fuse #38. A chart I found said that was the fuse for the seat heater module. I just did that so I don't know if that will completely stop the issue.

Any advice or other things I should do?

Pulling the seat is simple 4 bolts and a plug. It’s not heavy, I’ve had mine out. I’d pull it to examine what’s going on.
