I was excited to find the Dongar power adapter for the mirror plug. I ordered it and a USB to RJ11 connector for my radar detector and a fancy mirror mount. I didn't physically look, but I have the Lux package which has all the features offered. I went to install it today and found out I don't have the auto dimming rearview mirror. Everything I could find online says I should have it. I called Ford and after 30 minutes was told that it not an option after mid 2025 except the Raptor and one other model. To make it more complicated I can't add it because I have an updated camera module. I guess I can take the USB to RJ11 cable which is only 2 wires and cut off the USB end and tap in directly to 12v for the camera wires. Any thoughts on this?
