does your door chime?

Does your door chime when you open it? sometimes I think I hear one, but I'm not sure. I looked through the owner's manual and didn't find anything.

Mine sounds real strange when I open the drivers door. Almost like there's a bad connection somewhere. I plan to ask about it when I take it in for the first oil change.

Yep, you're not crazy, lol. Sorry you have it too, but I'm glad I'm not the only one! I've been trying to think of a way to explain it on here to see if there were any others with the issue. You nailed it with the crackling radio tho.

Not sure about the OP, but no other doors make a sound at all for me. Just my drivers door sounds wacky.

I haven't opened the other doors enough to notice if they chimed so wasn't enough sure they did.

Mine chimes about once every 2 weeks. It's always because my knee has accidentally hit the headlight knob when I got out and turned it from Auto On/Off to some other setting. I spin it back to Auto On/Off and everything's good.

I have no idea what Forscan is or does, so that hasn't happened since I've owned it.

When I open my driver door I hear the low pressure fuel pump kick on. This is normal. Maybe that is what you hear.

Anyone ever figure this out? I'm getting a weird low volume chime when I close the driver door, not when it's open, the car is off and the chime goes and then stops after about 5 seconds. But when I open the car door the speakers pop.

I tried switching the lights back to auto with no luck.
