Xpel Prime XR Plus is what I have, including 70% on my windshields and on my Bronco I did the cap too. Huge difference from no film in heat rejection.

My wife and I always get ceramic tint installed shortly after purchasing a vehicle. I did 30% on the front doors and 50% on the dyed privacy glass of the hardtop. Definitely can feel the difference here in FL.

I didn’t do the windshield but also never have with prior vehicles.

I'm strongly thinking about installing CLEAR CERAMIC TINT (%70 or higher) .....

- But I don't know if its all hype? does it actually work? do you actually feel cooler in the car by 10 or 20 degrees? thoughts?
Yes, its a substantial difference unless you are running limo tint. Its not like traditional tint where the darker you go the more benefits you get. What this means is you get the same level of protection from 75% and 5% Ceramic with the difference only affecting privacy levels (also doesnt interfere will cellular reception like traditional tint, but thats probably so minute it doesnt matter).

Personally I dont care about privacy specially when roaming in the darkness of the desert the darker the windows the more I cant see.

The easiest way to explain the difference is when your skin is behind Ceramic tint you dont get that burning feeling of the rays hitting your skin. With traditional tint you get that feeling unless you go to limo tint. During the summer I normally remove my rear windows (soft top) and drive around with windows up and no AC on

One thing to keep in mind is the lower levels of Ceramic do tend to give off a blue reflective hue similar to the factory windows of Mercedes. If I recall for my bronco I did something like 50% up front and 60% in the rear to combat that color difference and to even out the broncos factory tinted glass. They told me to go 35% in the front to get it almost exact but like I stated up top I didnt want to drive blind in the desert.

I have it all the way around my Raptor but it is 5% sides and 30% windshield. In south Florida sun that makes a huge difference.

It's amazing the number of people who completely missed your point...

I'm in South Eastern VA, sure it works, my car is only 150F when I get in vs 170F, makes a HUGE difference, LOL.

One thing that I do like though is I don't have the sun blaring on me when I'm driving, not sure how clear would work for that.
That math doesn't check out... should be 119..... All kidding aside I've been planning on getting it installed also.

Cool. But OP was asking about temperature performance of 70-100% CLEAR ceramic tint, not 5-30% DARK ceramic tint.

I can speak on this better than most. I literally sit in a glass box everyday for work. I’m a crane operator. During the summer the top of my thighs would get so hot I’d have to constantly keep them wet by pouring water on them. I installed 70% ceramic tint on the front glass and it’s still gets warm but I no longer have to pull out the water. I couldn’t go darker than 70% on the front glass because I still need to see and sometimes i work at night. Side windows are all 20% regular tint. The 70% rejects heat just as good if not better than the regular 20% but I get a clearer view.

I had it in my Audi A4 in Texas, and noticed a huge difference.
Kept the interior much cooler during the summers.
I recall that it costed more, but was well worth it.

I have 70% on the windshield and 5% everywhere else and all ceramic. After sitting in the sun all day at work the Bronco is at least 10-15% cooler.

I think the important thing is to do all windows and ceramic is best.

100% yes. I have 70% on the windshield and 35%, I think, on the front side windows. Huge reduction in heat on the dash.

I did 3M Crystalline 90% in the rear and 40% up front, it is a big difference and reduces thermal and uv radiation ALOT.
