Do skid plates come with base Sasquatch?

Ill be going with motobilt or metalcloak full skids on my base squatch... assuming either company brings them to market.

This one had the front mod bumper and I'm pretty sure the front plate was steel. It stopped at the axles and nothing past that point (from what I remember). So it seems the 2 door comes with a gas tank skid and the 4 door does not. Mod bumper gets the front steel skid for both.

Just saying that my 2 door Modular bumper came with all that is shown in the Ford Accessory kit less the transfer plate. The front plates seem to be about 14 to 12 gauge. Maybe less at the fuel tank.

You got it. The 4 door tank bottom must be higher and deemed "not needed" by Ford. Maybe we can get some 2 door pictures to compare.

First is looking front to back- front bash is to the right- engine plate to the left

Second is the engine plate looking to the front
Third is the fuel tank plate
All 2 door

It does look like the 2 door gas tank hangs lower than the 4 door. Interesting the 2 door non sas even gets a tank skid.

There was a company that used to build thick aluminum skid plates for VW and Audi. The aluminum helped cut down on weight and was pretty strong

I ordered the base Sasquatch 4 door with the standard bumper. Will it come with skid plates?

I have my VIN so it’s too late to change it now. I will likely order the modular bumper post delivery.

Ford was tripping not adding skit plates I went under my bronco yesterday and it’s a lot of exposed elements.

I'm hoping @Metalcloak offers a set skid plates. As I mentioned previously they had my 2 door for 3 days scanning and measuring it. I'm hoping they call me back soon for prototype test fitting. I'll share here if I learn anything new.

Skid plates are some of the easiest aftermarket products to make, because they are low tech. I fully expect aftermarket sets will be available within the next 6-12 months that will be much better than factory armor.

Bit at what cost? The factory ones are $400... aftermarkets for a Jeep are $1k.

I hope You're right, because some rock crawler is going to pull off his stock bash plates to uograde and I'm going to buy them
