Do skid plates come with base Sasquatch?

I ordered the base Sasquatch 4 door with the standard bumper. Will it come with skid plates?

I have my VIN so it’s too late to change it now. I will likely order the modular bumper post delivery.

Yes Squatch has them. Nope I was wrong. I have a Black Diamond they come with that but not Sasquatch is really weird.

My 2 door BaseSquatch only has a gas tank skid, and the plastic air dam thing under the bumper. The plastic oil pan, trans pan and the transfer case are pretty exposed. I will be installing aftermarket skids on mine.

Sas does not come with the full skid package. The truck will have whatever skids it has on that trim level. Some sas broncos have basically no underbody protection (plastic). If you add the mod bumper, the front skid goes from plastic to metal.

Also, all 2drs get the fuel tank skid (metal).

I think some people, who didn't look closely, will be surprised their truck that is optioned with 35s and F/R lockers is very exposed to underbody damage.

It shouldn't be long before multiple aftermarket choices are available though with stuff better than factory. New stuff is being demoed and tested all the time. I'm actually surprised how many different front bumpers I've seen already with so few broncos out there. So, it's coming.

Mine has all the skids and I'd still like to protect it more. My first underbody upgrade, when I get my Dirt Mountain Bronco, will be the rear lower shock mount skids. They were shown in a recent fun haver video.

2 door gets skid plates under fuel tank. My Modular bumper came with a front and engine plate back to the lower control arm mount.

This one had the front mod bumper and I'm pretty sure the front plate was steel. It stopped at the axles and nothing past that point (from what I remember). So it seems the 2 door comes with a gas tank skid and the 4 door does not. Mod bumper gets the front steel skid for both.

Just clarifying that no, SAS package does not come with any skid plates. Front skid comes with the Mod bumper, the rest come with whatever model level was ordered. Base 2dr has gas tank, Base 4 dr does not.

BTW, that is pretty interesting that 2dr has the tank skid and not the 4dr, wonder what the factory logic is in that? 2dr for wheeling and 4dr for groceries?

Ford was tripping not adding skit plates I went under my bronco yesterday and it’s a lot of exposed elements.

You got it. The 4 door tank bottom must be higher and deemed "not needed" by Ford. Maybe we can get some 2 door pictures to compare.
