My Bronco will be kept in a heated garage in the Chicago area and I'm not commuting in it. So, I'm not really concerned about sun/ice/exposure damage. But it is Chicago, so anything can be stolen if I go downtown...not sure if a cover would make it harder to steal, though, since it can be cut.

Instal Wheel locks, come 5 to a package, one is for the spare.

A tire cover won't prevent theft. They will just cut the cable

They'll probably just steal your tire cover

You know they probably target ones with tire covers because that's two for one.

These days, I worry a lot more about catalytic converter theft than tire theft.
Same. The Bronco is an easier target due to the ground clearance. Do the skid plates cover it? Never really crawled under there to look.

Leave a 100 dollar bill under the tire cover with a note that says please don't steal my spare.

I would get 2 covers. 1t one you put on the back side and the 2nd goes on the outside. This keeps the tire very protected and warmer in the winter. Can stuff this inside this way so it adds more storage.
