Spare Tire Cover

I am not sure if I am posting in the correct forum. And can't find old postings as I'm not great on this forum! I want to buy a "vintage" looking Ford Bronco spare tire cover for my Heritage that is on order. Did Ford have tire covers back in the 60's and 70's? I want something that looks authentic, but not seeing much on line. Any info is appreciated.

Yes, afraid of that. I love these. The companies I see that do “custom” covers don’t have the piping. I think I’m going to have trouble.

I hear you. The problem is sometimes it messes the design up, like if there's a hole in the middle of the Bronco or the wording is chopped up.

@MudDiggerDesignCo has some nice covers. Maybe something like this?

(I ordered two covers from the company. Haven't yet received them so I can't yet speak to quality. But I don't think I'll be disappointed. Quite the opposite, I think!)

You’re right. Depends upon the design of the cover.

On a recommendation from someone in this forum I was given Angie's name for making a custom cover. It turns out she was the same person that made a cover 15 years ago that I had seen in a google search! She said it was ok to post her email address in case anyone wants a very well made, good quality, thick, custom cover and reasonably priced! I sent her photos and she was able to match my Azure Metallic Grey perfectly! She can be reached at [email protected].

That’s pretty funny! My husband put it on and we had to get going so I didn’t have the heart to tell him it was crooked. I thought if it warms up, and it’s more pliable, I can do it!
