Ditch Lights - $550 Budget

I've been looking at the Squadron Pro's from Baja, but before I grab them, I wanted to see if there's anything else I should be considering. Maybe the Diode SS5's, or something from Rigid or KC?

I run the Rigid's 360 set. I have dual sets on both sides.
When I had an issue with one of my lights (it had gotten water inside) Rigid replaced the SET. I showed the light of the form, then showed I had destroyed it, and they sent me a new set of lights.

Outstanding customer service and I am very happy with how my lights work.

I like the wiring harness that Baja uses. Looks to be plug and play, easy to manage.

I have the SS5 Sport for ditch lights right now and have been happy with them so far. Before that I had the SS3 Pro and I would say they were pretty comparable in output just slightly different. The SS5 sport looks like it has more light up close vs the SS3 Pro felt like it broadcast further (Probably difference between more LEDs and the Sport/Pro). If Diode ever gets around to releasing those elusive lazer ones they were teasing a couple years back, I will probably go with some SS3 on the ditch and relocate the SS5 to the front bumper.

That all said, I have not really seen a complaint on Baja Design either so I think you can't go wrong with either one.

I really like the KC Flex Era 3 ditch lights I bought. The harness is very nice, the mounting bracket is very simplistic and sturdy and the lights are awesome. I’ve had Rigid and Heretic before and these are much nicer than anything I’ve ran.

Well Baja Designs makes the best quality lights. But you'll spend less $$ and get more light with the Diode Dynamics.

Baja Designs has a lifetime warranty and their lights can take a lot more abuse over Diode Dynamics. Made in Mexico.

Diode Dynamics have an 8 year warranty but are Made in the USA. With their Pro/Max versions you can get more light. They also have an optional back-light on the SS3 and it's a standard RGB on the SS5 versions.

With the A-Pillar kits we offer we provide our harness as part of the kit, so it makes installation a lot easier. We also offer additoinal options, such as our KR Off-Road Brackets, which give the light a NICE solid surface to mount to, since the Cowl on the brocos is split and tends to not sit flush (thanks Ford!)

yeah they can only be used off road but a the combo pattern would be good
