Decided to order a '24 Bronco earlier this year and it was down to the Badlands or Wildtrak. Both had pros/cons. Everyone will place their values differently but for us, it came down to the interior leather color. I was set on getting a Wildtrak until I saw the Medium Sandstone color in person. This was a deal-breaker for both my wife and I. We preferred the Black Onyx and ordered a Badlands.
That was exactly my stance on it as well, as soon as I saw that brown in a 23 WT it was a hard pass and made my decision to order a badlands for me lol

What Is The Difference Between The Badlands and Wildtrak Bronco?

Advantages of the Badlands Bronco
  • Cheaper and more efficient
  • More room for mods
  • Better at slow off-roading
  • More comfortable for daily driving
  • A choice between two engines and two transmissions
  • A carbonized gray front grille
  • A dedicated rock crawl mode
  • A better value for non-offroaders
Thanks RBJRBJ,
The link sums it all up very nicely. Thanks for sharing...

Actually i had both built and priced and the badlands came out a few hundred more than the WT the way I had them configured, the interior was the deciding factor to order the Badlands

The wildtrak may still be the only trim to give you a rear sway-bar on a 2-door.
Nope... all the two doors have them, at least that is my understanding. Mine does, and it is based on the Badlands.

There was a 23 WT on the lot that I got to look at and definitely not for me I even asked my buddy that’s a salesman if that was the only way it came he told me it was so I immediately said well badlands it is then lol

I am pretty familiar with the difference between a track bar and a sway bar. And I do like the sway bar. it is actually proven to keep the vehicle more level when flexing. It forces the front suspension to flex further before maxing out the rear.

You have a heritage limited right?
Out of curiosity I was looking in the parts catalog, but the only one that shows a rear sway bar is the Wildtrak. Wouldn’t be the first time the catalog has been wrong though.

What's the chances I have a 3.0 rack with billstein suspension? Mine was built in Oct. 22.
I tried looking at the rack under the truck, but hard to tell the difference...especially with it installed.

thx

Every 22.5 and up Wildtrak has the whole hoss 3.0 setup.
If it has the suspension, then it has the steering also.

Probably 0%
if it has bilstein, then it didn’t get the optional hoss 3.0 package for MY22.
If you send me your VIN I can check what it was built with though.

Another easy distinction to miss (which is not obvious on the website) is that the Badlands has a steel rear bumper and two tow hooks. The Wildtrak has a plastic rear bumper and only one tow hook.
and one more - the back of the front seats of the Badlands have a plastic molle panel whereas the Wildtrak has traditional pockets. And then there is the washout floor thing but you probably already know about that.

When they added it to all Sas 4-doors in MY22, I remember them saying that only WT 2-doors got them.
