Delivery Estimate For My Order?

Hi Everyone,

I’m wondering what insight/thoughts you guys might have on the delivery window I’ve gotten for my Bronco.

I was originally scheduled to take delivery between Dec 22-Dec 28. I talked to the dealership on the 21st and they said it was scheduled for the 28th but they didn’t know how/if Christmas would impact delivery. I spoke with them again on the 28th and as of then it’s scheduled be to delivered on Jan 5th. I obsessively check my tracker throughout the day and as of a few minutes ago, it’s still in Built status. I thought the 5th seemed optimistic since it was only a week from the 28th (when I spoke to them) and it wasn’t even scheduled yet. I know it’s in Michigan and will travel by rail to South Carolina and from there it’s hauled up to me, about 3 hours away. Would love to hear what you all think about when I’ll actually get it.

In my experience, Ford estimates are useless. Dealer estimates were also useless.
Once you get a rail car # from Ford chat, that will be your best way to track it.
I'd say it takes about 3 weeks (give or take depending on your location) for the Bronco to ship from MAP and you taking delivery.

The trick can be getting it to leave MAP in the first place. I’ve been built for nearly a month and it hasn’t budged. Shipping via convoy 2 hrs north of the plant.

Unfortunately, it's very unpredictable mine was built on Dec 2nd, and I am still waiting for it to be delivered to the dealership. However, one built the day after mine was already delivered to a dealership nearby. I am across the border in Windsor, Ontario, so both are by truck and not train.

From my experience.. It sat in Michigan for 40 days and then took 2 weeks to get to my dealer.
So February.

Sounds like you and I are the same boat. Sounds like yours is maybe headed to the Charlotte region as well in NC? Mine has been sitting at MAP for a month now today. Still just in Built “awaiting shipment” status. It could be a nice long test of patience now. My estimates have been very similar to yours. I’ve reached out to everyone I could about why it’s taking so long and there is no answer. Save yourself the headache. But you’re a welcomed friend here; there are a ton of people in this awaiting shipment limbo hell. Even quite a few in our region I’ve been keeping up with in their process.

Yep, sounds like we’re all in the same boat. Been built for several weeks and stuck in the waiting game now. Mine was built on the Dec 5th. I’m in Wilmington, hoping to venture out your way once I get it though

Ford's tracking is garbage. They showed mine as "delivered to dealer" three full weeks before it actually got there. Apparently was in the rail yard the whole time.

It's ridiculous.

Don’t forget to add in one more variable. . . Winter. If im not mistaken, winter has been a persistent PITA recently.

Mine was delivered in five days from MAP to the Annapolis Maryland vicinity.

Rail or convoy?

Convoy, and I saw 2 or three show up at the dealer when I was getting mine, and they were on a car hauler being towed by a pickup, not a huge car carrier. Must be because we are close enough to the factory.

Happy to say I received my shipment email this morning. Scheduled to pick up next week but will update everyone when it actually comes in
