Defective Rear Camera

I recently replaced the rear camera with the service advisor’s recommendation, as there were no issues with the original one. However, I’ve noticed that the new camera frequently displays a black screen. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue? I had it replaced last week.

There is a recall for rear cameras. Did you get an older, faulty one installed by the dealer by accident?

That's highly likely. I'm going to get it serviced at a different location tomorrow.
