Custom made dash and tower speaker harness adapter

Figured out I would share, since there aren't many good options to get the correct connector for the dash and tower speakers. I went ahead and purchased all the proper crimp tools, connectors and high quality speaker wire to make my own adapters and have some spare materials. I am an Engineering, so I researched the connector specs and made sure that all the materials I choose meet the connector manufacturer standards.
If anyone is looking for connectors to make the speaker swap plug and play please send me a PM. I am thinking of having some for sale to recoup at least part of the cost of the tools I had to purchase.
The wire I am using is 18 GA, which is the same that Ford uses in their harness. This ensures that there is no voltage drop at the adapter and gives you the best possible signal to the speaker.
The cables are already pre-wired with the spade connectors with the correct polarity (in my adapter red is positive and red/black negative) per the wiring diagram shared here in the forum. So truly plug and play.
I was able to swap out both my speakers in less than 30 mins after making this adapter, taking my time to remove the grills which are kind of flimsy.
I bought some cheap Kenwood speakers from Amazon, but I do recommend them! For $30 a pair, the sound is much better than the stock ones. They are tiny but I can even hear some bass coming from them and the mid and highs are much better too.

I already ran out of the materials I had on hand. I am thinking of making more but it might take a few weeks for me to get more materials.

If you decide to make more, post here when ready. I'll purchase a couple of pairs.

I finally got around to replacing my speakers last night. Your adapters made it super easy. Truly plug and play. I never had to touch a wire crimper. Thank you!!!

Any chance you can integrate the bass blockers for the dash harness?

Hey All, I do not have materials yet. Honestly I am thinking that any day now a company like metra will come with an adapter. Things have gotten really busy at home and do not foresee I will have enough time to keep making the adapters. Plus, I was just trying to get some of the money back that I invested in the tools, not looking to turn it into a business. Sorry about that to everyone.
